Section B – Fractions, Ratio and Percentage

Across the years, we noticed that the chapters which most students struggle with, are Fractions, Ratio and Percentage. We have learnt these chapters individually in school. But little do we know that these 3 concepts are highly interconnected to each other, and they are merely different sides of the same coin? To help students see how they can tackle questions from these chapters using simple and effective methods, we have compiled a list of commonly-seen heuristics and question types tested in Mathematics Paper 2. For this entire Section B, we will be exploring questions based on question type, rather than individual chapters. We hope these videos will help to break down and simplify lengthy questions, so that students will be better equipped with effective techniques to understand and solve questions on their own.

About Teacher Jayme

Teacher Jayme graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a Bachelor in Accountancy in 2007, and previously worked with Ernst & Young Assurance Services and Tax Services as an auditor.

Teacher Jayme specialises in private mathematics tuition since 2004 and has helped many students to both improve and excel their grades.
